The Illinois Association of Schools Boards, in collaboration with the Illinois Association of School Business Officials and the Illinois Association of School Administrators held their annual joint conference in Chicago on Nov. 18 and 19. This event provides an opportunity for school leaders and the citizens who serve on their school boards an opportunity to collaborate and learn. There is a wide variety of sessions on school operations, personnel, law and many others.
Dr. Lloyd Kilmer and Dr. Darlene Von Behren manned a booth representing Performance Learning in the vendor area to meet with colleagues and potential school district customers. We had the opportunity to share school improvement products in technology training and integration, inter-cultural communication and professional development for the teachers of English Language students.
Across from the booth were our colleagues from the Association of Illinois Small and Rural Schools. They had arranged for Abraham Lincoln to visit and greet the conference participants. Our honesty was confirmed by Abe!
